Mexican Cultural Institute, Washington DC

ICDC provided Construction Management Services for the Mexican Embassy for the renovations and repairs for the Mexican Cultural Institute facility. The work included repairs and replacements to over 65 window units, roofing repairs, new incoming fire and water services, HVAC and electrical upgrades, new security and intercom systems, interior wall reconfigurations, fire protection systems, ceilings, carpeting, painting, trim and millwork restoration, and kitchen renovations.

ICDC worked with the Embassy of Mexico and monitored Monarc Construction through the entire building process. ICDC reviewed all shop drawings, submittals, and applications for payment to ensure Mexico that all of the work was being installed and invoiced correctly. The 10 month project did not exceed the base contract amount and was completed at the original budget cost.
